GAME PLAY (AND AIM OF GAME)

When you first start the mission you are on the bridge screen. 
Go to the navigation (nav) screen and use the radar to find your 
convoy. Select the center ship (dot) and it will flash when it 
hass been clicked on. Follow your convoy till you receive a 
message as to where and who your attackers are. 

Then zoom in/out till you locate the target and select it to 
find its course and its range. Go and destroy it before it 
attacks your convoy!  After you destroy your attacker return to 
protect your convoy...

CONTROLS
Besides the bridge there are 8 different stations (screens). 
They may be chosen from the bridge menu using the joystick-
driven cursor and hitting the fire button. You may use instead
the following keys to do the screen selection:

1 = Nav - In this screen you can use the following keys:
    
             +/- = Zoom radar in/out (Use the joystick button 
                   to select current target. Its name will 
                   appear on a line at the right. Its bearing 
                   and range will appear above its name. Follow 
                   its bearing to track a desired target.)
2 = Map  

3 = Damage 
 
4 = Status

5 = 5" guns -In this screen you can use the following keys:

               F1 = Forward gun
               F3 = Aft gun

6 = Anti-aircraft guns

7 = Depth charges -In this screen you can use the following keys:

               F1-F7 or         = Select area you wish to drop 
               joystick cursor    a charge
            

8 = Torpedoes - In this screen you can use the following keys:

               F1 = Port torpedo
               F3 = Starboard torpedo


All screens (You don't have to return to nav screen to change
             course and speed):

CRSR up/down    = Adjust speed up/down
CRSR left/right = Steer left/right 
CTRL            = Full stop

RETURN          = Return to the bridge menu

SPACE BAR       = Pause game
